The Cohort includes a baseline sample of 1,154 pregnant women (584 non-depressed, 570 depressed) living in Rawalpindi, Pakistan in 40 village clusters that comprise the rural Sub-District of Kallar Syedan. Characteristics of the mothers and their children are displayed below.
